When a reckless act upsets the balance between two MC clubs, everyone is fair game in the war that erupts.
Avery belongs to Lilith’s Army now, after being taken against her will, but she isn't just anyone, she's a Cutter's MC Princess, and they don't take kindly to people taking what's theirs.

As Avery’s life starts to spiral out of control, she finds that her only hope of survival is to put her trust in the man she doesn’t trust at all. The only man that can bring destruction to not only both clubs, but also to her heart.

When the fallout reaches beyond just the two clubs, the consequences bring death, devastation, and chaos for everyone.
The dynamics of both clubs change forever in the wake that follows. Fate isn’t done teaching Avery that life isn’t always better with the devil you know sometimes it’s with the devil you don’t.

I love a good MC romance but i haven't read a MC read, recently that has gripped me as much as "Taking Avery" did. This book packed a punch and then some. It's darker than some i have read but this is what pulled me in even more, it's exactly what i expect from a MC read!!

What started of as night out with friends for Avery quickly escalates in to a blood bath and Avery being taken by bikers. Bikers are not something new to Avery having been brought up in a MC but it's a world she hate's. See she may be known as the MC's princess but in reality she never been treated in such away. The one thing she does know is that the MC always comes first!! Knowing what she does and being taken she knows this will start a war between the two MC's. She makes a sacrifice to try and keep the peace.

"I'm under no illusions about the darkness lurking inside him. But it's mixed almost equally with light. When the lines begin to blur between the two, who will I be left with? The sun or the shadow it creates?"

Slade aka Frost find that his rogue and very uncontrollable brother has messed up big time. When he finds a girl in his brothers room handcuffed but what startles him even more is what his brother Brenner has obviously missed, a mark on her neck, a mark stating she is the daughter and property of a rival MC. To prevent a war Slade's father who is Prez comes up with a fabricated story as to why Avery would be at their club. The MC comes first and sacrifice's need to be made but at what cost!!

"Stay strong, princess."
"Stay safe, Slade."

Slade is nothing like the bikers Avery is used too and especially nothing like his evil brother!!  Yes he's hard, tough, but he lets his softer side shine through as he begins to spend time with Avery. Even amongst all the chaos Avery can't help but find herself falling. Slade even thought his life isn't sweetness and light he was definitely swoon worthy.

This read was dark, gritty with twists and turns throughout. I couldn't put it down i was gripped from start to finish and can't wait for the next instalment from the Lilith's Army MC world.

Meet Author Ker Dukey

I have always had a passion for storytelling, whether it be through lyrics or bedtime stories with my sisters. I wanted to be an actress growing up so I could live many roles but I learned early on that my mind was too active… I would want to change the script.I would watch films and think of ways they could have improved the story if they took another direction so I thought it best that I tell my own.
My mum would always have a book in her hand when I was young and passed on her love for reading, inspiring me to venture into writing my own. I tend to have a darker edge to my writing. Not all love stories are made of light, some are created in darkness but are just as powerful and worth telling.
When I’m not lost in the world of characters I love spending time with my family. I’m a mum and that comes first in my life but when I do get down time I love attending music concerts or reading events with my younger sister.
You can find me on Facebook where I love interacting with my readers.
