Release Blitz & Review ~ Switch Hitter by Sara Ney

I knew something was wrong the second she walked in the door tonight; I just couldn’t put my finger on what it was. Same hair color. Same legs. Same face.  Except…I look harder. At the small dimple beneath her lip that wasn’t there the last time we went out. And her laugh—that laugh isn’t as loud. This isn’t the girl I’ve gone out with the past few weeks. It’s her twin sister, and they’ve switched places on me. Only I’m not quite ready to let them switch back.

REVIEW

Switch Hitter, A novella which was originally part of the Team Anthology. Is a fun, lighthearted read that will put a smile on your face.

"Lucy said i'm your unicorn," He laughs, tossing his jacket on a chair. This gives me pause. "She did?"
"Yup, i'm a motherfucking unicorn."

Amelia is a twin and though they are almost identical on the outside they couldn’t be more different on the inside. Amelia is a sweet, shy, studious student. She doesn't really do all the hooking up for hooking up's sake. She would prefer a meaningful relationship. Which is the the complete opposite to her wild child twin Lucy.

When Lucy has two dates the same night she convinces Amelia to take her place and go out with Dante, aka Dash, the catcher for their college baseball team. What could possibly go wrong!!

Dante isn't like most jocks, he was brought up more traditionally. So after two dates with the flakey Lucy he's know tonight will the last one. He just never banked on this third date doing a complete 360 flip turn. And leaves him feeling all kind of confused as he really enjoyed this date and Lucy seems completely different????

Amelia is surprised after meeting Dante. She's soon feeling things that she shouldn’t for her sisters date. Dante is nothing like the jocks Amelia is used to. He’s kind, a gentleman, and she can't understand why Lucy would do this to him.

Amelia and Dante were lovable characters. They were awkward, fun, adorable which gave for an hilarious read. When she pretended to be her sister. I loved how when Dante cottoned on to what had happened. He went searching for answers till he got HIS girl and that certainly wasn't Lucy. There is no craziness and i was glad there wasn't any over the drama. Making for a fun delightful, feel good read.

Switch Hitter is the novella leading us into the up and coming Jock Hard Series and I cannot wait to get my hands on it! I loved and adored the How to Date a Douchebag Series. And with that little tease of Jock Row (Book #1) at the end of Switch Hitter I know it’s going to be another fun series HIT!!
